Wee Believers Toy Review

Wee Believers-Where Faith Meets Fun!

I was sent the Wee Believers Bath set, stickers, and band-aids to conduct this review.  I was not paid for this review and all opinions are 100% mine.

As a mom of faith and the wife of a pastor you can bet I am all about toys that help reinforce the love of Christ and the teachings they learn from their Bible Lessons.  When I can take fun activities and apply them to Biblical truths and teachings I get a smile on my face.

When we opened the package up my daughter saw the stickers and immediately we unwrapped them up.  She had just celebrated her birthday and wanted to make bookmarks for thank-you cards to give to hear friends.  The stickers were perfect for that!  My daughter also knows the Noah's Ark story very well so as she created her book marks we talked about Noah and the flood.

I think the very same evening my daughter was complaining about a owie she had gotten.  How many of your kids pretend they have owies just to get a band aid?   My daughter will get the smallest little bump and immediately she needs a band aid to make it better. So I knew she was excited to use one of the new Noah's Ark animal band aids.  I searched her finger for the cut she was talking about and could not find it but I gave in and let her put a band aid on.

When my kids took their next bath they were excited for new bath toys.  So many of you know we love to have fun in the bath!  (Check out some of our bath fun, Glow Bath and Tub painting)

First I let the kids do what ever the wanted with the Noah's Ark bath pieces but then we realized the animals of course were in pairs.  So we played a matching game in the bathtub.  The kids love the animals and had fun matching but also gathering the animals two by two.  :)  Clean up was easy because it came with a mesh bag that has suction cups to keep on the tub.

So if you are starting your Christmas shopping you should stop and browse all the items Wee Believers has for sale. :)

"The Reading Game" Review and Giveaway

Description: The first book in  The Reading Game  learn-to-read series tells the story of a skunk without a stripe who is rejected by the other skunks but finds acceptance among some cats and becomes their defender.  Itā€™s told in rhyme, is beautifully illustrated, and is 32 pages long.  It will be the first book the student reads, and there are five more to follow in this groundbreaking learn to read program. Each of The Reading Game's six stories is told using just thirty new words.  These are broken down into six sets of five words.  The student learns to read each set of five words by playing a simple word matching game.  Frequent exposure through play hard wires these words into long-term memory.  Rote learning is transformed into a fast-paced game with a winner every few seconds. After completing Skunk, Game 1, the student has learned five words (can, cat, is, me, not).  Playing Game 2 adds an additional five w...

Packing for your first ski trip

Pexels - CCO Licence So, you're gearing up for your first ski trip and the excitement is as thick as the snow you're about to conquer. But before you can show off those freshly learned pizza and French fry stops, youā€™ve got to pack.  Packing for a ski trip can feel like preparing for a chilly expedition to the North Pole, but fear not! With these nifty tips, you'll be ready to hit the slopes in style and comfort. 1. Layer Like a Lasagna Think of your ski outfit as a gourmet lasagna: each layer is crucial. Start with a moisture-wicking base layer (yes, that includes thermal underwear) to keep you dry and snug. Over that, layer a warm and breathable mid-layerā€”think fleece or a wool sweater that can handle the chill. Top it all off with a waterproof and windproof jacket and pants. Remember, it's all about layers that you can add or peel off because sweating while you ski is less fun than a snowball in the face. 2. Keep Those Fingers Cosy Cold hands can ruin a...
